Our unit offers a structured training program. We have five training courses that our members are required to complete (when available). These courses are one and two day classes covering, for example: search theory, navigation and actual field applications.
These courses are held on weekends and evenings. Additionally, we offer specialized training in ELT locating for downed aircraft. In return we ask for a commitment from you to give your time whenever possible to help us accomplish a successful search and rescue operation.
